"The bees are flying. They taste the spring."
Named after the final lines of Sylvia Plath's poem "Wintering," this scent is a bee's dream of spring. Representative of hope in a time of survival, we will be donating 5% of sales to Time Out Youth, a Charlotte-based nonprofit that provides community and needed services for our LGBTQ+ youth.
The Bees opens with a bright, realistic honey aroma created with a natural honey extraction, paired with jasmine and mimosa absolutes, petrichor, and a fuzzy note of pollen. As the fragrance wears on the skin, the lingering honey aroma begins to swirl with creamy iris, fresh cream and aromatic myrrh to create a cozy, your-skin-but-better scent.

Hand-blended with high quality perfumery materials, this scent is formulated at an extrait de parfum strength (more of the good stuff in your bottle) to provide maximum longevity and projection for the scent profile.
Choose from a coconut oil base for increased longevity, an alcohol base for more projection, or layer for the best of both worlds. We also now have an isopropyl myristate (IPM) base for our international customers who prefer a spray. The base can change the scent slightly; oil tends to bring out the richer base notes of a perfume and ages beautifully over time; alcohol tends to bring out lighter, fresher top notes and spice.
Alcohol-based perfumes cannot be shipped internationally. Our shipping zones are within the US and Canada. If your shipping address is in Canada and you choose an alcohol-based spray, your item will automatically be switched to IPM. For domestic addresses, alcohol based perfumes will be shipped in alcohol.

Orders ship via USPS Ground Advantage. Tracking is provided when your label is created. USPS may take up to 48 hours to update tracking.
Orders over $300 USD ship with signature confirmation.
Due to USPS regulations, perfume volumes over 470mL must ship in multiple boxes. Tracking will be provided for each package.

Diane H. The Bees my beeloved. This was a full size at first sniff for me. This is a lovely, creamy, realistic honey scent. I hate perfumes that say honey note and really mean they have synthetic sugar syrup notes and this one is absolutely not that. It open with a great realistic fresh honey scent the dries down to a creamy, almost whipped honey with jasmine and what seems to be my skin but better but is most probably a combination of myrrh and iris. The longevity is great for me, about 7- 8 hrs, and even when the honey has completely faded I still have a my- skin- but- warmed- by- the- sun thing going on. This is my favorite Sorce scent by a lot.

glampajam this feels like the most perfume i’ve been looking for my whole life it truly smells like honey, i literally describe it as i go to smell a flower and there’s a bee in there with pollen and honey stock to its lil legs. I’m so happy. I am nervous if I get the spray that the alcohol base will change the scent and wish there was a domestic option to choose the oil base.
